Hello TI Team,
I wanted to know if/ what is the powering up sequence for the UCC21732 Driver IC, if any ?
i.e. If only IN+ pin is powered by 5V (For non inverting) and supply such as VCC, GND, VDD, VEE, COM are not there, in that case IC will be damaged or it will be working once supply is ready?
Also please share the power stage, powering sequence requirements for this particular IC.
Thanks in advance.
Have a good day...
Hi Chetan,
It is not recommended to power up other pins before the Supply pins as it violates the Abs max rating - which should not be violated. As it is possible that due to other internal components, the device may power up through the IO pins and exceeds the pins current limit, which may damage the device and hence VCC needs to be powered up first.
Hope it helps.
Thanks
Sasi
