My customer is considering TPS62A01 and has a question.

I would be grateful if you could advise.

According to the data sheet P.12 of 8.2.2.1 Setting the Output Voltage, R2 must not be higher than 100kΩ to provide acceptable noise sensitivity.

Is there a lower limit? For example, is it possible to use12k?

Thanks for using E2E.

There is no real min limit for R2 but for sure with lower R2 values the Efficiency is going down.

I understand R2 doesn't have lower limit.

On the other hand, it should be noted that smaller R2 is made, the worse the efficiency becomes.

I'll share the information with the customer.
