BQ40Z50-R2: FAH of the battery pack jump to zero

Tool/software:

In some of the batteries FCC is jumping to '0' from 25AH. Attached the log file and GG file with this. Please help up in finding what could cause FCC jump. Please let me know if you want any extra information.

Hello Uday,

I would recommend using the GPCRA0 tool. https://www.ti.com/tool/GPCRA0

Using the updated parameters from the tool could hopefully improve what the gauge is reporting.

Thank you for the response, Sorry for late reply.

This issue we got from the field. We want to know the root cause of this before suggesting the solution to the customer.

I was looking into the log file I observed the max error=101%. and the condition flag is set. Does this cause the FAH value report from the gauge zero/ less value?

The log file already attached to this thread please have a look. This log file is from the fault battery returned from the field.
