BQ34Z100-G1: Leaving LearnedStatus at 0x06?

Thanks for the timely response. Hello Jeffrey,

You can review data memory when the original golden image was created to the values that are being reported now. If the Ra table and Qmax didn't change then there was no learning that occurred since the golden image was flashed on the gauge. That post was outlining the worst possible case which is why we recommend turning off gauging before programming the golden image file. In most cases, it is fine to keep gauging enabled, but end results will depend for each application.

And just so I'm understanding, if I were to follow the steps and set the learned status to 2 - but never reenabled IT (via IT_ENABLE(), does that mean that the gauge will NOT run the IT algorithm?...i.e. it will not actually be gauging.
