Dear Team,
Hello Amith,
No, you should not need an additional discharge control circuit.
Best Regards,
Christian
HI,
Thank you for the confirmation. Please verify if the highlighted path in red is for battery discharging is correct. Additionally, we seek clarification on how the load receives power during charging. Is the power supplied through the path highlighted in green?
Our current understanding is that the load will be powered directly from the input source, with the input being distributed between charging the battery and supplying the system load. Please confirm whether this assumption is accurate.

Dear Team,
Im using 6.4V LiFePo4 battery so i need to consider VBAT voltage is 6.4V or less or more (if less how much less, if more how much more), and how can i set charging voltage and discharging voltage thresholds.
SHello Amith,
I'm confused on your question.
Here is the BQ24650 schematic checklist: BQ24610_BQ24650_Schematic_Checklist (44).pdf
In this checklist we have different calculations for the charge voltage, battery recharge threshold, and the battery low voltage threshold.
Best Regards,
Christian.
