TPS65987D: Questions about TPS65987D to support HPD function

Hi,

May I know who is the customer and what is the end equipment?

We have the HPD timing table in the datasheet, can you explain what auto HPD, long HPD and short HPD are?

Customer is Hisense, and it is for TV application.

The auto-HPD/long-HPD/shaort-HPD requested per their SoC DP IP side are as below, please help to check if our TPS65987D can support it or not?

1. Long-HPD, >2ms, typically >110ms, after DP IP(SoC side) triggered, does PD controller TPS65987D hardware can detect this state? And send the message to DP TX through CC logic?

2. Short-HPD, 0.5~1ms, same process as above.

3. Auto-HPD, auto detection between above long-HPD and short-HPD states.

Per below Type-C protocl spec requirements, it needs 0.25ms and 2ms later for DP Source to response IRQ_HPD, can you help to check how TPS65987 to meet this spec? Thanks a lot!
