TPS61377EVM: Achieve 6A output current

Hi team,

I want to use this EVM to achieve 6A output current, however, the default current is 1.5A.

What changes do I need to make on this EVM? Change the inductor to meet the Isat?.

Vin: 12V-16.8V(4s3p)

Vout: 24V

Ioutmax: 6A.

Hi Kailun,

When Vin = 12V and Vout =24V, the max Iout is around 1.9A. It's far less than 6A.

I think boost controller is needed to achieve such a big Iout when Vin = 12V and Vout =24V.

Hello Kailun,

For 6A, I would recommend using a synchronous boost converter as the current in the diode is causing a lot losses when using a non-synchronous boost converter. So LM5123 could be a good choice.
