TPS65982DMC: Configuration Tool

We are designing a USB3 Hub with PD that includes the TPS65982DMC combined with the TPS65988DH similar to the system diagram from the datasheet of the DMC:

The TPS65988DH can be configured with the Application Customization Tool. I have version 6.1.4.
How can I configure the TPS65982DMC? This is not included in the tool above.
On our board both - the TPS65988DH and the TPS65982DMC - have a SPI flash to save their config. Can the flash of the TPS65988DH be updated TPS65982DMC via I2C?
If yes - is there a tool to test and configure this setup?

I will get the prototype boards with TPS65982DMC and TPS65988DH tomorrow and need a configuration tool for TPS65982DMC. Is there also an application guide available for TPS65982DMC?

Hi Thomas,

Are you following a reference design for this project? The TPS65982DMC is really only intended for TBT applications that follow an intel reference design.

no we are not following the intel reference design. Is there any possibility for costum programming of the TPS65982DMC?

Hi Thomas,

Unfortunately we do not support custom programming the FW of the TPS65982DMC. It is only designed for TBT reference design support.
