hi, 

My account is searching for a HB gate driver, the requirement are: external boot diode  and input interlock function. 

UCC27288's voltage and current capability can meet customer requirements, but it has no interlock function. any HB gate driver recommendation ?

    Hello Ken,

    Within the 100-120V half bridge drivers, the UCC27288 is likely the closest match although it does not have the interlock.

    There are HB drivers with external boot diode and interlock but they are the 600V HB drivers. The UCC27712 has the interlock function and external diode. But this device has longer propagation delays at ~100ns and has a  dead time of 150ns. If this can work look at the UCC27712 HB driver.

    The source and sink current of UCC27712 is 1.8A/2.8A which can't meet customer's requirements( at least: 3A/3A).

    Hello Ken,

    Most of the higher current 100V half bridge drivers have the internal boot diode since that is a popular choice in many applications to save the external diode component. Especially considering the customer requirement for 3A or higher gate drive current, I think the UCC27288 is the best option although it does not have interlock.
