TPS65994AD: Correct USB-C Port Configuration

Hi,

May I know what is the end equipment? Do they require the end equipment to have data capability? TPS65994AD is an older device so if they plan to pass compliance they cannot use this device.

And may we know why this PD might not pass the compliance test?

Hi, I have not heard of such plan so far.

So we will stick to this chip.

And given the fact that we are still working on this charging issue, I think this topic is not yet resolved.

Could you please have a look at our current setting and maybe correct the error in our PD FW?

But I also have a problem connecting to the TIVA USB to I2C bridge on the TPS65994QFNEVM.

So, I have connected the barrel jack and the microusb port to my computer.

The D4, D22, D23, D14 LEDs were also turned on.

But when I try to flash the board, I got error messages like

"Exception Encountered during I2C Test Read:Unable to open the COM port.

<type 'exceptions.Exception'>"

How can I open the COM port?

I have accepted you request, you can send the project file in direct message.

The error is telling you that you are using the incorrect COM port or the COM port you want to use is already being used by another application. You can go to device manager and check which COM port TIVA is on then head back to GUI and configure the COM port setting in "Adapter" in the toolbar ribbon.
