TPS7B91: TPS7B91050DBVR minimum load and stability with low output current and capacitor

Part Number: TPS7B91

Tool/software:

Hello,

I would like to know if I can use the following LDO TPS7B91050DBVR as a voltage reference. Our board consumption is only 5A stable, with an input voltage from 10V to 20V. Input voltage is low impedance.

We don't require precise voltage. +/-1% or +/-2%) is sufficient.

Is it capable of maintaining stability under light loads (5µA / 5V output)?

Can we use an output capacitor with a smaller value than the datasheet, for example 470nF instead of 1µF, if we don't have inrush current?

Thank you, Emilien
