UCC28056: Input AC current distortion

Part Number: UCC28056

Tool/software:

Hello

I am using UCC28056A to boost voltage to 500Vdc at a power output of 30W. When I measure the input AC current and voltage to see the power factor and THD I measure a current which slightly resembles a sinusoid but is very deformed and 90° out of phase with AC voltage.

Here is a capture of the input AC current i_AC, input AC voltage v_AC and rectified ac voltage v_|AC|.

How do I fix this and get power factor = 1 and less current distortion?

Attached you can find the Excel calculator I used for the design, PDF of the schematic and the Altium project.

Regards,

Samo
