UCC21542: UCC21542DWKR - Bootstrap Capacitor for switching STGP10H60DF IGBT at 60Hz

Hi, I need an isolated gate driver that drives the gate of this IGBT - STGP10H60DF at 60Hz switching frequency. How big should the bootstrap capacitor of UCC21542DWKR be for this case? I think it is very large (>50uF), so is there a workaround for this problem, since I would like to minimize the capacitance of both Cboot and the VDDB decoupling capacitor? Please advise. Thanks!

    You can use these equations to calculate the necessary minimum Cboot for your application. Please note that this is an absolute minimum, so make sure not to use a capacitor below the calculated value.
