TPS92682-Q1: current accuracy in CC mode

Part Number: TPS92682-Q1

Tool/software:

Hello,team

I want to use TPS92682 in CC mode, and I want to know the current accuracy how to calcualte, which factor can effect the accuary, could you teach me?
becasue the datasheet has no infer the Err AMP offset ,the internal resistor  and so on.

  • Hello John,

The part has a +/- 4% accuracy over -40C to 150C as stated in the data sheet.  To minimize error, you can use 0.1% resistor for the current sense and use as large current sense resistor value as possible for your application.

    Thanks Tuan

  • Hello Tuan,

I want to use the TPS92682 in CC mode, and the current range is from 0.1A~1.5A,as my know from the datasheet ,if the current is lower(such as 100mA) the accuracy was worse than 4% like the TPS92520,because we need the wide current range, the sense resistor when we think out the power,it cannot use large value.

I want to know what accuracy in different  ouput current from 0.1A~1.5A

  • John,

We only test for what we listed on the specification and that's all we can guarantee for.  Unfortunately, if we do not list any specification on the data sheet then we do not have data for it.

    Thanks Tuan
