I would like to ask whether GPCRB can modify the coulometer model for discharging power at the minimum temperature, and whether it can solve the problem of power jump in the process of discharging power at low temperature. At present, I have a product design, and the end customer requires discharging at -20℃, and the power of the battery pack does not jump in the discharge process.

  • Hello,

The GPCRB tool is used to alter the Rb Table within the device to optimize for temperatures outside of room temp, with these values being used in calculations for values such as SOC, FCC, etc. Regarding this power jump during the discharge at low temperature, is this being observed by a jump in the SOC or FCC?

Also if you have a log file of this occurrence, we can take a look into it and help try finding the root cause of this jump.
