from datasheet, it seems like they are same in Electrical Characteristics.

Hi Jay,

Thanks for reaching out. The "R2" indicates a difference of the LDO orientation in tape and reel.

TPS7B8650QKVURQ1: pin 1 quadrant = Q3

TPS7B8650QKVURQ1R2: pin 1 quadrant = Q2

Please see the orderable device table in the datasheet under "TAPE AND REEL INFORMATION," page 33-34.

Other than this difference in tape and reel, there are no differences between TPS7B8650QKVURQ1 and TPS7B8650QKVURQ1R2.
