TPSM84624: TPSM84624MOLR output design

Hi team,

Need design support 

We are using TPSM84624MOLR part to generate the Output 3.5V/ 6amps. With input voltage of minimum is 4.75V and Max is 5V. Please share your suggestion details.

And also, please consider the negative overcurrent limit of TPS84624 and confirm for my above-mentioned output design requirement.

    Hi Ramakrishna,

    A 3.5V output will not be an issue considering that is the maximum specified Vout recommended in Table 2 of the datasheet. The NOC is not characterized but from the char data it is around -2.5A. In this case, NOC will not hit.
