TPS25980: Does TPS259804 have a pre-bias startup function

Hi team,

Does TPS259804 have a pre-bias startup function? Before the internal MOS is turned on, Vout has a voltage, and then EN is given. Can it start normally?

    Hi Matt,

    TPS25980 doesn't have reverse current blocking. Some current may flow in reverse direction from the body diode path if Vin is low and Vout is high. The body diode is not recommended for continuous current flow. 

    Regarding the startup, device should have fine startup even if Vout is high.
