What is the power conversion efficiency of the LMR43610-Q1 at light loads?

We have the possibility of 60uA output, and we would like to share information on the power conversion efficiency curve when outputting 60uA.

Hi Kentaro,

It depends on the operating conditions. Assuming Vin=12V, Vout=5V, Fsw=2.2MHz, and Iout=60uA, then the efficiency would be around 74% at room temperature (TA=25C). If you have different conditions we check those. If this does not meet your requirement, we have other devices to suggest.

Thank you for response.

The conditions are 12V input and 3.3V output. The switching frequency can be left at 2.2MHz.

If you can prepare data for an operating temperature of 85°C and 105°C, please share it.

Is the answer to this question about power conversion efficiency good with a simple recognition of power conversion efficiency?

When calculating the input current, I am aware that the quiescent current of the IC is added separately.

As an additional condition, in addition to the 60uA output, the data at the 2mA output is also required.

Hi Kentaro,

I will reach out to the team regarding the light load at higher ambient temperatures and plan to update this thread next week.

The efficiency of the device includes the current required for the IC to operate, and represent total current consumption by the IC at a given load.

Hi Kentaro,

Please refer to the attached data at similar conditions to your request. The input voltage and Fsw are slightly different, but this minor difference will not have a major impact on your efficiency assessment.
