UCC27624: Introduce delay on gate driver output

Part Number: UCC27624
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ISO7760

Tool/software:

Dear Experts,

We use UCC27624DR to drive low side N-channel mosfets that drive high voltage and current contactors (900V/500A).

Between various contactors we want to introduce some switching delay in the range of 50-100ms so that the inrush currents of the

contactors be spread in time (not doubled in the same time).

My question is is it a good idea to put a strong RC filter on one of the the output of the UCC27624DR (OUTA or OUTB) in order to

delay one mosfet activation with 50-100ms? Unfortunately making a delay from the digital circuit is not possible.

Thanks!

Best Regards,

Andras Magyar
