Hi,

my customer is using TPS6594133 in a development project. Currently, all their devices are firmware v3.

They have received the PCN and the default enabled watchdog may pose an issue for them. It looks like it is not possible to properly configure the device to start with watchdog off.
Their software is currently not able to trigger the watchdog, so they cannot have a running system atm.

Can you provide firmware „NVM_CODE_2 0x05“ for them to test the new firmware?

    Hello franziskus,

    Below is the NVM relating to Rev5, "NVM_CODE_2 0x05“

    TPS6594133A REV5

    By default the WD is enabled, but the long window is default to 13 minutes (maximum allowable), in that time frame they can disable the WD via an I2C write to either bit of, "WD_PWRHOLD" or "WD_EN"

    Details on both bits are in the register section of the datasheet, if you need an explanation on the slight differences of using either bit, please ask.
