TPS7H6023-SP: Referece pspice model (TPS7H60x3_trans.dsn) behavior

Part Number: TPS7H6023-SP

Tool/software:

Very high current measured on highside driver "ASW" terminal. Is it correct behavior ?

I found it on the original TPS7H60x3_trans.dgn simulation on PSPICE for TI.

The measured procedure is following.

1. Exstract the reference design and open in the PSPICE for TI.

Filename which I downloded "snom790.zip" from

2. Select .\tps7h60x3_trans.dgn\BUCK folder and Choose "Make root".

3. Double click "page" and open "Open-Loop Buck Schematic"

4.  Select  "New simulation profile", add name as "open-loop-buck-sim", and press "Create" button.

Change "Run To Time" box to "1ms" and press "OK" button.

5.  "Run P-SPICE"

6.  Add current probe on "ASW" terminal of TPS7H60X3_TRANS and check the current.

7. I measured the following wave form.

8. Is it correct behavior ?  I found more than 80KA of spike current on the terminal.

Best Regards.
