Tool/software:
Hi team,
Customer connects two 92520 to one 92682. #1 92520 is for high beam & low beam, so it keeps enable all the time. #2 92520 is for turn light, so they will control it to turn on and off.
Now, customer controls #2 92520 turn on and off by controlling UDIM channel(using 400Hz PWM) with high and low level voltage. They write all the SPI command including brightness in initial script.
Then they see #1 92520 shut down and reports BOOT UV FAULT every time when they turn on #2 92520.
The output of 92682 is about 48V and the output current for each 92520 channel is 1A.
They have another project. It has the same device but difference on/off logic. The waveform is shown below.
Yellow: output current
Blue: SW voltage
Questions:
1. Is it feasible to directly control the light on and off by controlling UDIM channel?
2. Can they fix the problem by controlling the light on and off by writing CHxIADJ?
3. How can they produce the same waveform as the LED current slightly more than 0? With CHxIADJ writing a small value? They want to know if there is a setting that can wake up the bootstrap cap and have no output current, then they can solve the BOOT UV fault.
Regards,
Peter
