Hi Sir,

My customer asked the below questions about the PFM mode, could you please help to reply them? Thanks!

In PFM mode, the datasheet mentioned that the duration of the burst depends on how long it takes the inductor current to reach IPEAK-MIN.

What is the condition let burst to turn off the PFM switching?

In PFM mode, does it have the formula to calculate peak-to-peak of V-out?

    Hello

    Typically, you will get only one current pulse.

    The SW will stay on until Ipeak-min is reached and then the SW will go off.

    In some cases you may see a burst of SW current pulses.

    It is difficult to predict the output voltage ripple with accuracy.

    It is best for the customer to test this on an EVM under the exact application conditions.
