Dear Team,

I have a Bq76952 eva boad. I created import file using the bqstudio for datamemory parameters(cov, protections etc.). I imported the file after that I clicked read all parameters severeal times. Parameters are changed to my paramaters but there is not working protections. After the reset using commonads section, datamemory paramters are changed to before updated. So I can not imported my paramters and work. Could you help me about that? Is there any mode for import file about bq76952? I attached the import file.

Hello,

When you export your .gg file is your Auto Refresh OFF? There can be problems with not exporting everything if Auto Refresh is on.

Hello,

Try checking "Auto Refresh" (highlighted in red) at the top left corner of the BQStudio dashboard. Make sure that is off when you export.

Hello,

When you are importing your settings are you clicking write all?

If the device is reset all the settings will be reverted back to default.

Just to double check, are you writing the settings and then sending the RESET() command?

Data memory settings reset to their default or OTP settings when the device is reset or POR'ed.

Hi,

Write all and after that I clickced read all. Data memory parameters are changed after read all but protections aren't work for example cuv, temperature. When I send REST() command data memory settings are reset exactly you said.

Hello,

When the RESET() command is sent the settings will be reset and you will need to re-import the .gg file to get your settings. This is expected device behavior.

However, there is a problem with your settings. The CUV and COV thresholds are too high.

It is important to note that the units of these are in 50.6mV increments not 1mV increments. The limits of these values can be found in the technical reference manual:
