BQ34Z100-R2: Can we send a battery to Texas Instruments to determine the chemical ID?

Part Number: BQ34Z100-R2
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQSTUDIO, GPCCHEM

Tool/software:

Hi,

We have a BQ34Z100-R2 battery gauge, but we can't find our battery in the list of chemistry IDs. We thought that we can use bqStudio to automate the charge/discharge cycle to find the closest chemistry ID, but I don't see the CPG cycle tab. My guess is that this feature is not supported on our battery gauge. We don't have the necessary tools to do the manual procedure ourselves.

We have the following battery: https://www.dnkpower.com/products/3-7v-800mah-552065-lithium-polymer-battery/

Can we send the battery to TI to find a compatible chemistry ID for us? Is this a service the company offers? If so, can you tell me how to proceed with the shipping?

Thanks for your time and have a nice day.
