BQ40Z50-R2: LED Displays (dim/leaks into adjacent LEDs)

Part Number: BQ40Z50-R2
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ40Z50

Tool/software:

I was wondering if there is a document from TI that helps users select the LEDs to use for the gauge display on pins LEDCNTLx?

The most obvious need is to closely match the Vf for each LED and work within the output current the bq can support.

However, I have a product using this device with LEDs on a flexible cable where a specific SOC level causes other LEDs to dimly appear.

For this example, LED1 & LED2 are correct but I would have a dim green LED3 and LED5 completely skipping over LED4 when all these 3 should have remained off.

Is there a method to avoid this or is there a common practice missed to prevent driving the LEDs accidentally. LEDs are confirmed matching within 0.1V.

Thanks.
