Can BQ24650 be used as a DCDC when not connected to the battery?
When I tested, I did not connect the battery. The input voltage was above MTTP and the output voltage was 14V. When supplying power to the entire system, the transient current response was not sufficient. When supplying power to LCD screens or 4G modules, it could cause the power supply to drop and restart the entire system.

    Hi Chao,

    The BQ24650 has a battery detection function which the output waveform will look like what is illustrated in figure 13 in the datasheet without battery connected. I suspect this is what you are seen here. Unfortunately, this feature cannot be disabled, therefore, you will need to have a battery connected to make it work.
