I am using a design which was intended for the TPS48111 driver. Because it was not available i have used the TPS 48110 and i have a strange issue.
On the same board i have 2 drivers one driver with 4 mosfets in back-to-back configuration and the second driver with 2 mosfets back-to-back configuration.
I have some strange behavior on both channels.
The logic to start is as follows:
1. enable driver (EN pin pulled down to gnd with 10k resistor, pulled up by mcu when requested to 3V3)
2. wait 10 ms
3. enable gate (INP pulled down to gnd with 10 k resistor, pulled up by mcu when requested to 3V3)
PSU output 42V 10 A
OUT connected to a Korad DC load of 1KW (Load Disabled )
When driver starts it opens the mosfets but the DC load voltage is only 40.5 V, if i enable the dc load the voltage drops to 0 and the FLT_I is triggered.
I disable the dc load and the voltage gets back to 42V, now enabling the DC load at 10A CC it is working without any issue.
Going forward from here no matter how many times i enable and disable the load is working.
If i stop and restart the driver i am starting with the same issue.
I am unable to share the schematic on the public board. if needed i would like to continue with the details of the design in private.
