TPS43060: max output current at 7.2Vin, 26Vout

TPS43060: Boost Solution for 12-24Vin, 8A Iout @ 30V

Tool/software:

We are looking for a Boost Solution that could take 12-24Vin and able to output at most 8A @ 30V during full load. I tried Webench on TPS43060 but it was not able to process because it cannot find a suitable mosfet. But I guess with a pair of much higher current rating mosfet it might do the job?

    Thanks for reaching out to us via e2e.

    You are right, the achievable maximum power level of a synchronous boost converter is mainly dependent on the components of the power stage, not on the controller.
    Appropriate FETs which can handle peak currents of 40A or more are available in the market.
