TPS65131: Not working above 3V3

Part Number: TPS65131

Tool/software:

Hello

For a new board we would like to use the TPS65131 to convert 5.5V to +10V and -10V.

For a first prototype we basically used the example from the datasheet.

Tests showed, that the circuit is working well up to 3.3V input voltage, where the negative output is able to deliver around 100mA.

At 5.5V input voltage, the negative output can barely deliver 3mA, then the voltage falls to 0V.

In the evaluation board documentation i found a comment, telling that the circuit is optimized for 3.3V applications, so i calculated the needed inductors for 5.5V in, -10V 400mA out and tested it, without seeing any difference.

What is needed to get this circuit work at 5.5V input?

Thank you in advance

Best Regards

Marco
