Hello,

We are currently designing a novel DC-DC Power converter for battery charging applications & IC UCC28951 Looks interesting choice.

Desgin Perameter:
Vin min - 80VDC, Vin nom - 300VDC, Vin max - 400VDC
Vout nov - 24VDC - 26VDC, Iout - 45A nom, 50A max
Topology - Phase-shifted full bridge

Befour moving further with design we have couple of question as per below,
1. Is there any Excel Design tool for this chip?
2. Is it possible to control output voltage and output current with this driver IC?
3. Do you have any application note on how to control output voltage and output current.

Please let me know if you require any more clarity

Will it be possible for TI to provide its BoM or Magnetics (Transformer & Inductor) manufacturer and its part number.

Hello,
Any update on this?

Also, As further in design, Do you have any PFC controller that don't require Auxiliary Supply?
Like, For UCC28180 its required extra bias VCC, we are planning to use same VCC from Bridge as per attached photo, will it work?

Its offer Bidirectional AC - DC converter using UCC2895X IC?
Do you have any similar application note from TI?

Unfortunately, we don't have any app note using UCC2895x for bi-directional AC/DC applications. you can refer to that link for your system design.

You could theoretically do that but it is not practical for the following reasons.

1) you need an external circuit to step down the Vin to lower voltage to bias Vcc. This external circuit will burn power which will sacrifice efficiency at light load.

2) you need a big cap on Vcc pin to hold the voltage higher than UVLO in the entire AC cycle (20ms). This will also sacrifice the iTHD at load load.
