TPS65988: How to use the TM4C123G LaunchPad Evaluation Board to program and debug TPS65988DH based system

Hi David,

The TIVA device requires a custom firmware we call PPC_Host in order to work with our GUI and with the PD controller. Without this custom FW, the TIVA cannot work with our GUI tool. We can only provide this custom TIVA firmware for internal test builds. We cannot provide the custom TIVA firmware for production use. Please confirm this with us. 

Once confirmed, I will provide instructions on how to obtain the custom TIVA firmware.

We do not have any product that will use the TIVA IC for production.  It will only be used to debug prototypes.  We will be using a FT4232 based FTDI board to program for production.

The TIVA firmware will NOT be used for production use.

Thanks for confirming. Have you created a myTI account? Please send the email you created your myTI account with. Because this TIVA FW is an internal binary, we'll have to share it via a TI secure resources folder, which requires you to have a my TI account.

Please also download the following flash tool. You'll need it to load the FW to the TIVA launchpad.

I have a mTi account.  How should I send you the email?  I have received files via www.ti.com/mysecuresoftware/  in the past.

I originally registered myTi under david.hilderman@gmail.com My current email address is dhilderman@ivlaudio.com

I have our marketing team giving you access now. You should receive access to the folder with PPC_Host binary in it shortly. If you have access to david.hilderman@gmail.com still, you'll get an email. If not, you can login to the myTI account associated with that email later today and check.

We tried providing you access, however, we are not permitted to provide access to myTI accounts created with gmails anymore (must be a company domain). Please create a new myTI account with your dhilderman@ivlaudio.com email address, and we will provide access through that account.

I just attempted to create a new myTi account with dhilderman@ivlaudio.com and was not allowed. 

According to my myTi account,  dhilderman@ivlaudio.com  is the associated email.  I attempted to change it to something else and was not allowed.

I have had secure downloads in the past with my current setup and I did not use the gmail account

Please find a way that I can get the PPC_Host TIVA firmware, we really need this tool in order to get this project moving forward.  

I have asked a co-worker to request the PPC_Host TIVA firmware. His myTi account was created using a corporate email account.
