Ripple on TPS2500 output

Dear All,

In our design TPS2500 boost regulator is operated at light load conditions (Iout <100mA).We are seeing a ripple on Vaux and the switching frequency varies depending on the load current.

Added to this the ripple noise is getting fed back to the input supply.Is there a way to fix its switching frequency and also make Vaux less noisy?

The frequency cannot be changed. The Layout Recommendations and Component Recommendations sections have information on noise and ripple issues.

If it looks like the converter is going into the ECO mode (ON/OFF high-efficiency mode) at light loads, you can try the TPS2501. See the datasheet page 12 and following to help identify the various mosed of operation.
