I understand that the BQ27220 needs to be in the SEALED state to be used, but could you tell me what happens if it is not in the SEALED state?

    Hello Homare, 

    If the gauge is unsealed in the field, then anyone could have access to the gauge's parameters in the field. Additionally, the configured gauging parameters could be tampered with in the field and cause the gauge to not operate as intended. It is highly encouraged to seal the gauge in the field.
