TPS25980: TPS259823 Efuse is shutting down even though load is in the current limit

Iam sharing my schematics here.

1. Can we connect a load to the eFuse circuit when it is powered on. can you clarify this.

Hi Bindhu,

Yes, you can connect the load after the eFuse finish its startup. Your schematic looks fine.

Which load are you connecting. How much current is it drawing. Can you try the test with rheostat as load. You can use 5/(0.5A) = 10Ohms (assuming you need 0.5A of current).

What is your operating current value. Do you have some buffer between the ILIM and nominal current.

Iam connecting 2 radar sensors with consume 1A max combinedly

operating current value is 0.33A 0.36A.

ILIM is 2A buffer is 2.2A.

Using R-Load the circuit is tested result is attached.

Sorry, I think I got confused. Can you confirm that this shared table is the result. If it is then I think the problem is solved, right? 

ILIM is 2A and the device is working till that level and also the first reported issue of device not outputting more than 0.5A should also be resolved.

If not, can you please tell me the problem you are facing now.

As per previous discussion my schematic shouldn't be a problem to supply current to load.

so I have conducted a hotplug test on my circuit.

Case-1 Source connected to Efuse circuit along with the load.

            Step1 Now power on the Battery. Vout and Imon pin tested current is generated and output voltage also.

            Step 2 disconnect the load(Hot-plug) Then Imon goes to zero and Vout remains same(5.2V)

Case-2 Source Connected to Efuse Circuit no load is connected 

            Step1 Now Power on the Battery. Vout is observed Imon is zero 

            Step2 Connect the load. Now Imon is zero and Vout is remains Same(5.2V)

In the case 2 even though my load is very small (0.5A) the efuse circuit is supplying current to load.

Can you explain this?
