TPS4H160-Q1: current capability

Hello team,

Good day!

It is indicated in datasheet the current capability of 4H160 is 2.5A, is it refer to single channel?

If we use four channels at the same time, will each channel keep 2.5A output capability? Or what is the actual value?

    Daniel,

    It's going to depend on the layout. The numbers you see in the datasheet are standard JEDEC 2s2p layouts and for one channel enabled at a time. If all channels are enabled at the same time the current capability will be less (likely closer to 2.0A). What are the exact requirements for the application (capacitance, resistance, inductance, etc.)?
