Can the BQ77207 IC perform cell balancing? If so, can this feature be disabled or enabled when ordering?

    Hello,

    The BQ77207 IC does not support cell balancing.

    If you are looking for cell balancing, I suggest the BQ77915: 

    • Scalable cell count from 3 series to 20 series or more
    • Overvoltage: 3 V to 4.575 V
    • Undervoltage: 1.2 V to 3 V
    • Current protection
    • Smart passive cell balancing removes cell-to-cell imbalance

    I would also suggest the BQ76907:

    • Battery monitoring capability for 2-series to 7- series cells
    • Extensive protection suite including voltage, temperature, current, and internal diagnostics
    • Needs host for cell balancing
