LM2611EVAL: Can't get eval board working.

Part Number: LM2611EVAL

Tool/software:

Bought the LM2611EVAL last week.  Powered up yesterday for the datasheet configuration.  5V in, -5V out.  First with no load.  It could not produce -5V.  Can the eval board circuit handle no load?  Also tried with a load for 250mA (datasheet says it can go up to 300mA).

After I get the eval board working in the base configuration, I will have more questions.

  • Hello Rick,

The EVM should be able to work at no load. If you apply 5V on the input it should give -5V on the output. Can you please check if your source is limiting the input current?

    Best regards,
    Brigitte
