My customer is considering using OR-ing (LM5051) and Hotsawp(TPS2390/1).
They have a question about the use of MOSFETs in both devices.
Below are the application circuit diagrams for the two products.
There is a difference in the direction of the FET used in the two products.
Q1. It is believed that MOSFETs with different characteristics should be used for OR-ing and hotswap. Please tell us the requirements and methods for selecting the appropriate MOSFET for each of the two solutions.
Q2. Would it be a problem if they used MOSFETs with the same characteristics for OR-ing and hotswap, just swapping the directions?
