Can TPS715xx NC pins be connected to voltages other than GND?

    Answer:

    No bond wire on these pins. So they can be connected to any other voltages. Connecting it to GND is always recommended for heat dissipation. Here is the NC pins for different TPS715xx packages:  

     

    DRB: 2, 5, 6

    DCK: 1*, 3

    DRV: 2, 4*, 5

     

    *: Only for the fixed version.
