I want to know if the 5962-8958703XA or LM2940GW5.0/883 parts are hermetically sealed. I can't find anywhere on the datasheet suggesting that it is but the mil doc states that this PN is. The NAC package drawing for this part also does not state that it is hermetically sealed.
The .mil doc STANDARD MICROCIRCUIT DRAWING BULLETIN (5962-89587) states "The lead finish shown for each PIN representing a hermetic package is the most readily available from the manufacturer listed for that part. If the desired lead finish is not listed contact the vendor to determine its availability."
