TPS628501-Q1: Confirmed the operation of the TPS628501-Q1

Part Number: TPS628501-Q1

Tool/software:

Hello experts,

Let me check the operation of the TPS628501-Q1.

In other power supplies, when the input voltage changes within the absolute rated voltage range when EN = ON or OFF, an output voltage abnormality occurs.

Please check if this problem occurs in TPS628501-Q1.

BR,

Kentaro

  • Hi Kentaro,

Could you please elaborate on the abnormality. Do you have any scope plots?

    Thanks,

    Febin

  • Hello Febin,

    Thank you for response.

Do you have any scope plots?

I don't have any simulation data or actual results.

In the past, when EN=OFF, there was a case where the power supply input voltage fluctuated violently, and the voltage came out on the output side.

Therefore, I would like to investigate whether there is such a phenomenon with this device.

Of course, this is also the case when EN is ON.

    BR,

    Kentaro

  • Hi Kentaro,

I have not experienced this before with this device.

It would be better to capture the behavior with scope plots.

It would also help if you share a complete schematic.

Please also check if you can reproduce this on our EVM.

    Regards,

    Febin

  • Hello Febin,

    Thanks for the reply.

I checked with TI-JAPAN members and got the results.

Therefore, this thread will be closed.
