BQ25898D: What is the duration of Trickle Charge

Please allow me to share a couple key points related to your question. 

-There is not a set time duration for trickle charge. The device is in trickle charge for as long as battery voltage is below Vbat_short threshold of 2V. The amount of time the trickle charge phase takes will depend on the capacity of the battery (i.e. a smaller battery will charge faster than a larger battery)

-In general a typical Li-Ion battery is considered fully discharged at a voltage higher than 2V. In this case the device will start charge from pre-charge phase and never operate in trickle charge region.
