Hello,
I am planning on using a TPS2492 to supply power for a BLDC motor drive application. I am using the power limiting as a means to pre-charge the DC bus. I am also planning on using back to back FETs to ensure that the body diode doesn't conduct while in regeneration and truly cut off the source.
It's unclear to me that the TPS2492 will activate from an overcurrent condition when a negative current is applied. Can you confirm the expected behavior with a negative current applied. Below is a snippet of the intended circuit.
