BQ40Z50-R2: Possible to manage a larger battery with capacity above 32Ah?

The BQ40Z50-R2 looks like a good solution to my design requirement, except for the Battery Gauge function being limited to 32Ah. Is there any way to use this part, using a gauge "scaling factor", with a single-cell 100Ah LiFePO4 battery?

I cannot find any other battery gauging and protection solution for a single-cell LiFePOP4 battery.

Hi Nigel,

If a cell size larger then the maximum specification is being used, then the current sense must be scaled to represent the difference. This can be done by altering the CC Gain parameter and the Capacity Gain parameter of the gauge.
