Hello Team,

please can you help to explain how to differentiate error cases such as open load, short to battery, short to ground in this device.

So far there is an off-state diagnose for open-load and short available.

    Josef,

    There is not explicit way to differentiate between the faults as they are all ORed together and reported via the FLT line or the SNS pin. You can add external FETs on the output and use these to differentiate between open load and short to battery, however this requires software on the MCU side for differentiation.
