BQ27Z561-R2: DOCUMENTATION ERROR? bq27z561 how to get interruptstatus()

Tool/software:

InterruptStatus() is listed as a data command read only...but scanning through the documentation lower it says it reports info on macdata()???

If it does the later then you likely have to write to it. Which is it?

Currently doing a read and getting the wrong/unexpected value when interrupt is firing.

UPDATED: It does work like a data command and it is readable like one. The macdata() description is misleading, not sure what it's talking about.

MacData is a command that is used to read other commands. What description of MacData() are you referring to?

Checkout the in-text datc command description of the register in the TRM. I can share it later (I'd have to look it up), but it mentions data getting written to macdata when using it....which sounds erroneous/misleading to me.

Hey Craig,

Still unsure where this is mentioned. However, it might be mentioning that you have to write a certain command to MacData to specify to which register to read.
