BQ24295: alternative parts

Hi Team,

I am looking for ICs that has the following features:

  • charge a Li-Ion battery
  • includes a system power supply that can be enabled by pressing a power button (the power off can get handeled by host MCU)
  • if possible be able to negotiate with DCP/CDP chargers over USB data lines
  • low price

The bq24295 has similar features for what i am looking for. However, I would be interrested in a list of potential candidates that I can then look through.

    Thank you for reaching out via E2E. Please see my comments below. 

    Here are some alternative buck charger ICs to the BQ24295 which meet your listed requirements: BQ25620, BQ25629, BQ25611D, BQ25898D, BQ25890. 

    They are listed in order of how recently the part was released to market (i.e. BQ25620 is newer than BQ25890).
