TLV709: The LDO temperature rise for TLV709

Hi,

We want to choose a LDO for the power supplier, and our paramater is input voltage is 24V, and output voltage/current is 5V/100mA, the package is SOT23-3;

We consider to use the TLV709 but we can't find the pad on the bottow of this package, we are affraided the temperature rise because the power dissipation is more than 1.9W,

We calculate the temperature based on below thermal information form, the temperature rise is very high and it is unacceptable,

so please kindly advise if there are any other LDO that it has the PAD for the heat dissipation? thanks.

Please see the TPS709 device: TPS709 150-mA, 30-V, 1-µA IQ Voltage Regulators With Enable datasheet (Rev. H) (ti.com)

This device has better thermals than the TLV760 device.

Do you need the 3 pin SOT-23 device?

I will talk to a marketing engineer to see if we have any devices that are 3 pin with the specs you need. As of right now, I am not seeing any devices with the 3 pin package.
